We are proud to offer our clients an option that we feel to be particularly great value for the price: Invisalign. No longer do you have to go through the involved and painful process of braces when you want to straighten your smile—Invisalign can help you look your best in no time!

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a treatment option that consists of a variety of plastic trays. These plastic trays are made specifically for your mouth, and are designed to fit your teeth perfectly in order to achieve the results that you want. It is a highly-personalized form of treatment, in other words, that helps comfortably and quickly correct various smile issues. Many people love Invisalign because the trays are clear and do not attract attention, which may be why Invisalign for teens is so popular. Additionally, because they are removable, you can take them out in order to eat or drink and then snap them back into place.

What is the Invisalign process like?

The first thing that your dentist will do if you are interested in Invisalign and are a good candidate for the treatment is probably to create a personalized treatment plan. With Invisalign, you can generate a treatment plan that maps out the condition of your teeth from start to finish, and all of the various stages in between. The correct number of trays can be determined, as well as what kinds of adjustments would be most beneficial. Your dentist will then take some molds, impressions, and a bite registration of your teeth in order to create the molds that best suit your needs.

Once your molds have been taken and sent to the lab, a more complete treatment simulation will be generated and the actual Invisalign trays will be created. Your dentist will review all of the information to make sure that the treatment fits your needs, and then you will come back in to approve the treatment plan and pick up your aligners once they are ready. Note that this takes a few weeks. You can expect to pick up your Invisalign trays in around four to six weeks.

How long does Invisalign take?

Depending upon your specific needs and treatment plan, the Invisalign treatment process could take as few as eight or ten weeks, or as many as thirty. It all just depends on what exactly you are looking for. Your dentist should be able to give you a specific number of casts you can expect to use once your plan is okayed and the simulation is created. Once all your treatments are completed you will have a beautiful straight smile. To maintain your new smile retainers will have to be worn every night to maintain your new straight smile.

Invisalign vs. Braces

Invisalign and braces are the two most popular orthodontic treatments for gradual teeth straightening. Many people love Invisalign clear aligners, but many patients still go for braces. Here at Home, our dental specialists offer traditional braces and clear aligners, using proven and reliable techniques. We strive to deliver predictable and pleasing results with efficient services.
